Arizona Repertory Singers Spring 2010 Concerts
Now celebrating their 26th season, the Arizona Repertory Singers will present three spring concerts:
Due West … and Other Directions
Sunday, April 18 at 3:00 p.m. at Grace St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 2331 East Adams St.
Sunday, April 25 at 3:00 p.m. at the Fountain of Life Lutheran Church, 710 S. Kolb Rd.
Sunday, May 2 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Odilia Catholic Community, 7570 N. Paseo del Norte
The ensemble’s signature delightfully eclectic selections will include “Due West,” a demanding a cappella suite of works by Stephen Chatman evoking sights and sounds of the North American prairie. Also on the program: Baroque music by Henry Purcell and Jachet de Berchem, American spirituals by Moses Hogan, a traditional Acadian lullaby, Gyorgy Orban's "Daemon Irrepit Callidus," and new works including Eric Barnum’s ethereal “The Lady in the Water” and Ben Allaway’s “The Worlds Above.”
Tickets, available at the door, are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors/students.
All concerts are in Tucson, Arizona.
